Navigating Campus
For help navigating around the UC Davis campus, please refer to the campus map. If you are hosting an event on campus, your Career Center contact will send directions and parking information at least one week prior to your event.
Campus Parking
Paid permits are required to park on campus Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Permits are only required on the weekends and university holidays during special events. Parking areas with permit requirements will be posted in advance for these exceptions. The university also provides disabled parking access.
You can purchase parking permits using AggiePark through the AMP Park app. Solar-powered COSMO permit dispensers are available in limited visitor lots. Please note that visitors can only park in C or L zones before 5 p.m. After 5 p.m., visitors may also park in A zones. Visit UC Davis Transportation Services for more information and current visitor parking rates.
Visiting the Career Center
The Quad Parking Structure provides the easiest visitor parking in proximity to the Career Center in South Hall. It is recommended that you allow about ten minutes for the walk from the parking lot.
Directions from Parking Structure to the Career Center in South Hall:
- Exit the parking structure, turn left toward the Memorial Union (MU).
- Walk toward the Memorial Union (MU).
- Turn left onto North Quad Avenue, then take your first right onto East Quad Avenue.
- You will walk past two concrete buildings, the Social Sciences/Humanities Building and Young Hall.
- Then you will see two shingled buildings, North Hall is the first shingled building and South Hall is the second shingled building on your left.
- An elevator is available at the north side entrance, the side entrance closest to the MU.
Attending an In-Person Career Fair
Most in-person career fairs take place at the University Credit Union Center on the west side of campus.
Unloading fair materials
When attending a fair at the University Credit Union Center, make sure to drop off all boxed materials and displays at our loading zone before parking. There is no ramp at the front entrance of the University Credit Union Center. The loading zone is off of La Rue Road. There will be a driveway near the large grass fields. Look for a large "LOADING ZONE" banner.
Career fair parking
The main parking lot for career fairs is Lot 25, which is directly adjacent to the University Credit Union Center at the corner of La Rue and Orchard. To get there, take a right at the first stoplight just past the loading zone. When Lot 25 fills up, you will be directed to the Pavilion Parking Structure, followed by Lot 40.
Parking for two representatives per organization is included in the career fair registration fee. To activate your parking permit:
- Check in with the parking attendant at the entrance of the parking lot and let them know you are a career fair representative
- The lot attendant will scan your license plate to register your vehicle for the pre-paid permit.
- Please note that this parking permit does not include EV charging. If you need to charge your vehicle, there are chargers in Lot 25 but organizations will need to pay for the EV charging permit on their own.
Do not park in the handicap, metered or other designated areas unless you have the appropriate associated permits. Government vehicles with E plates or California exempt plates do not need an event parking permit to park on campus. If you need special accommodations, please contact the Career Fair Coordinators ahead of time to make arrangements.
